Anderson Park is seriously impressive. The playground combines classic favorites with modern play features that encourage climbing, swinging, spinning, balancing, and sensory fun for all ages.
- Swings galore: 5 regular swings, 2 baby swings, 1 saucer swing, 1 bucket swing, 1 “see me” swing (a face-to-face tandem swing for parent/child or two kiddos!)
- Roller slide – smooth and fun for all ages (a personal favorite!)
- Several traditional slides
- Modern and accessible merry-go-round
- Fine motor/sensory play including musical instruments, games, and levers
- Sway Fun Glider – an accessible glider with benches and room for 2 wheelchairs
- Stepping stones
- An abundance of climbing features
- Foam turf and ramps for all accessible areas, wood mulch throughout the rest of the playground. Grassy fields and paved paths around the playground and surrounding river area.




Know Before You Go:

- Enjoy the pretty riverside area as a peaceful break, or bring fishing equipment and cast a line
- Though the playground itself isn’t shaded, the park is large and surrounded by trees, giving you plenty of options to escape the sun. There are plenty of picnic tables throughout the park and under two pavilion shelters, making snacktime at the park a breeze. Or, visit The Blueberry Line Coffee House (just a mere 1/4 mile walk way from the park) for a coffee for you and a cinnamon roll for the littles before or after you enjoy the park!
